Another stunningly beautiful buddleja species found by Reginald Farrer in Gansu in 1915. Much admired by visitors to Kew Gardens but then dismissed as a species by botanist Anthonius Leeuwenberg, meaning that like a lot of fine species which all look quite different, they cannot appear in Plant Finder seperately. Beautiful, large heart-shaped leaves, covered in a thick white felt and Lilac-rose, strongly fragrant flowers in April. Makes a fine rounded shrub and can look great in a large pot on the patio or courtyard.
