Illicium simonsii

£28.00

One of the best and most reliable of the newer illiciums. Propagated from the original Kew SICH collection, this form makes an impressive conical shape
of evergreen foliage. Can get large eventually over twenty years, prefers a neutral to acid soil. Seems perfectly hardy and grows beautifully at Kew in London.
Lovely quite large scented creamy-yellow flowers in early spring and often again in late summer.
One of my very favourite shrubs.
