Welcome, I'm Paul Bonavia and I established Exclusive Plants in 2007 here in the South of Cornwall. Our specialist nursery is conveniently located near Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens, as well as the nearby Helford River. The plants featured on our website have primarily been propagated and grown by me in my four-acre garden. My goal is to trial and select the best varieties and forms from the often overwhelming array of options (for instance, there are 244 different Astrantias in RHS Plant Finder!).

I've always had a fondness for wild-collected plants; their simplicity and beauty often outshine many modern hybrids. A significant number of the plants available on our website are from wild collections. I've been fortunate to personally collect seeds from various plant expeditions around the world, adding to my own collection.

The nursery and gardens here are still a work in progress, and while we're currently not open to the public, we can always arrange for the collection of plants. Lastly, we're more than happy to provide honest advice or discuss any plants and their suitability for your requirements via email.
