I grow 'Hot Chocolate' and 'Gongshan', one of the original plants and this beauty, 'Koki'. They are all superb and slightly different, 'Koki' is a collection by highly regarded plant collector Mikinori Ogisu from Hubei in Sichuan. Deep purple-red new foliage that matures to green/purple. A strong grower with broad leaves and lovely large pale pink sterile outer florets and smaller mauve-pink inner flowers.<br> Someone in the States has re-named it Purple Passion...really.<br> Should be more widely planted.<br> <br> Nice 2 litre plants in the Spring <br>
