Mahonia gracilipes 'Mount Omei'

£27.50

A lovely and very distinctive mahonia (sorry mahonia buffs but you have to admit a lot do look the same!). First discovered on Mount Omei by the great plant hunter Wilson but not introduced until 1980 by the great plantsman Roy Lancaster. It was the great new thing with beautiful flowers and foliage with a white chalky underside.
It is now scarce as not easy to propagate, in this selected form it now has a lovely autumn blush as well. I just have a few.
