A spectacular and scarce tree that makes a showy specimen.<br> Hardy and deciduous with handsome pinnate foliage and in late Summer-Autumn striking fruit/seed catkins 70-80cm.<br> These are seedlings from my own awesome specimen grown from seed I collected many years ago 3000m up a Chinese mountain, hanging over a massive pond with it's long catkins.<br> The relevance of this is it prefers soil that does not dry out, secondly it does not sucker (thank the Lord!)
