A beautiful and rare Chilean evergreen shrub with deep green leaves and striking elegant drooping panicles of saffron yellow flowers in spring. Initially slow-growing, it will eventually make a large shrub. It is difficult to propagate.. These plants are propagated by cuttings from the lovely specimens at the Garden House in Devon. Strong plants. Native of Valdivia Province, Chile.
