A rare species with large-toothed leaves, covered in a dense white felt and deliciously scented lilac flowers in panicles, in late spring. Sadly both this and B. farerri have been included in B. crispa but they are both quite different in their own right and very lovely. The ideal spot for agathosma is against a warm sunny wall but if like me you haven't got much wall , a sunny sheltered spot is just as good.
