A very pretty and classy South African buddleja, with fine evergreen leaves that have a white felted indumentum and weeping branches. Flowers in long, cylindrical panicles, strongly fragrant, creamy white, with a yellow throat in the winter. Perfectly hardy (-11 deg C) if placed sensitively, with it's gorgeous scent (once compared to Chanel No5! ) and winter flowers, it is worth the care. Also invaluable for Red Admirals that might still be on the wing.
