A spectacular plant for the conservatory or a sheltered spot in favoured locations. Rare, as it is not easy to propagate, it has huge highly fragrant rich yellow and orange flowers against big leaves. An amazing talking point and asset for those luck enough to facilitate it. There is a stunning specimen at Tregrehan gardens here in Cornwall, growing into a tree. Very special. Discovered in the Shan Hills, Burma by Sir Henry Collett in 1888.
