Melliodendron xylocarpum 'Pink Form'

OUT OF STOCK

A beautiful relative of the snowdrop tree and although it has been around a few years now it is still very special. desirable and scarce.
It grows into a small tree and benefits from a sheltered shady spot.
It is always grafted as difficult to grow from cuttings or rarely seed....hence it's scarcity. Having said that it is one of the most important recent introductions, beautiful in flower in white or pink. I have a couple of original plants and pink is usually the most desirable. Most importantly with melliodendron is to plant a healthy plant. some that have been grafted in Holland are poor. All my plants are propagated in the UK by me or friends.
