The tree peony with deepest crimson flowers and golden yellow anthers, against very handsome deeply cut foliage. The whole is set upon a stately framework that makes a good specimen plant. Although the flowers are not huge, this is a sought after peony, once seen. Named for Jen Marie Delavay, French missionary and botanist who spent time in China.
